The bolt is a threaded fastener with six corners and is designed with a wrench. Six-head bolts are usually manufactured and supplied in accordance with D.931 and ISO.4014. Hex head bolts are usually partially threaded and used with mating nuts because of the pressure generated by the supplied nut rather than the pressure generated by the shell threads.
All threaded hex bolts are fully screwed onto the head. This type of bolt is required when the shaft of the fastener is fully inserted into the threaded hole. The two threaded sections are usually securely fastened together with fully threaded bolts. They are usually manufactured and supplied in accordance with DIN 933 and ISO 4017 specifications.
The bolts are treated with Dacromet and have strong oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance.
